Ticket Presales End Thurs May 22
AMJam 2008 presales are due to end on Thursday May 22 at 10pm so get your tickets now before they cost more at the gate! Single day tickets for $60 are still available as well as 2 day for $115. For all you locals out there, check out the Asheville outlets to get your 3 day tickets for $125…outlet sales will end on Thursday as well so please get them while supplies last!
Important Festival Information
AmJam is such a special concert event because of the wild beauty of Deerfields. The best musicians on the planet are excited to be here and we're camping with our favorite people. This might possibly be THE Best Memorial Day Weekend EVER. Here are tips on how we can all be good family.
Go light on the packaging
For example, instead of a bazillion little water bottles, bring one bottle to carry around and bring a gallon jug of water for your campsite. Think re-usable items as you pack. Please.
Pick up every piece of trash.
This festival will be SO much more fun to be if all those grass and flowers are uncluttered. If you're a smoker, please extinguish that butt and make sure you take it with you.
Recycle
Volunteers are handing out recycle & trash bags as you enter. Please bag all trash and recycling and bring to a trash or recycling can.
PARKING & SHUTTLES
Deerfields is a beautiful place to camp. Park in the lot ($5) and catch a shuttle on the funky purple La Zoom busses and equipment trailers. The shuttles will run all weekend long so you can make multiple trips to your car.
VEHICLE CAMPING
Because Deerfields is located in the mountains, flat spots suitable for car camping inside the venue are very limited. Purchase a vehicle camping pass when you buy your tickets so we can save you a spot. There are a limited number of these passes, they are $50 and they WILL sell out in advance. If your tickets and vehicle camping pass are being held in will-call, please print your purchase confirmation page and present it to the traffic director as you approach the venue. If you intend to car camp with a group of friends you should arrive together.
RVs/CAMPERS
There are a limited number of RV passes as well. These are $75 and should also be purchased with your tickets.

Kids Universe
Hey parents! This year the kids universe will be playing hard, making music and creating costumes and crafts. We want to ask parents and anyone else to help us out and make this the best year yet. Donations of juice/drink boxes and snacks will be greatly appreciated and enjoyed. We also want to ask people to bring in some items that we can use to make instruments. These items include: paper towel roll (just the tube), shoe boxes, clean peanut cans (or something similar) with lid and dry beans or seeds. This is a short list, so anything you can think of that would be fun, crafty and/or nutritious will be happily accepted. All weekend we will have special performers and activities *such as storytelling, yoga, and chi kung* for small kids and big kids alike, so be sure to stop by and checkout a schedule. We will also be doing a fabulous parade on Sunday where we will dazzle the audience with our music and costumes. Don't miss out! Feel free to bring costumes from home. But don't worry, we have stuff to make costumes at Kids Universe.
Keller Solo, Schedule Post & Last Shot At Lower Prices
It's gettin' closer and it's getting better, folks. We just added a new KELLER WILLIAMS SOLO SET to the already-jam-packed AMJam line-up!!!! That's in addition to the smoking Keller & the Keels set. Check back on Monday, May 12, to see when these and all other artists will be playing.
Also, be sure to tell your friends who've been putting it off that Sunday, May 11, will be the LAST DAY FOR REDUCED TICKET PRICES. On Monday, prices will increase from $125 to $145.
The site's looking as beautiful as ever, and we're all looking forward to sharing a super weekend over the Memorial Day holiday break. This is one party you just can't afford to miss!!!

Look for HeadCount volunteers at the HeadCount booth or walking around with clipboards and “Register to Vote” signs. They can help you if you need to register to vote, recently moved and need to re-register, or have questions regarding any voting-related matter.
HeadCount is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to registering voters and inspiring participation in democracy through the power of music. The organization was founded in 2004 by a collective of artists, music industry professionals and fans all determined to make sure the live music community is well-represented at the polls.
